VISCOSLEEVE is a viscous-elastic self healing heat shrink sleeve for the protection of field welded joints in pipeline systems. The ViscoSleeve can be applied without a primer. Pre-heating of the field joint is not necessary. The Viscosleeve is the only viscous elastic heat shrink sleeve where the viscous elastic corrosion protective inner layer and the PE mechanical protecting outer layer are combined in 1 product and hence 1 layer. The result is a ridgid one layer system. ViscoSleeve is wrapped around the joint without leaving space underneath and is shrinked by the application of a moderate flame.
